A sketch can be improvised by adding more details to it which can be done by using techniques of Hatching, cross hatching, stippling, scumbling and scribbling. These techniques should be used in a way that they provide an idea of light and shadow of not only the scenery but also the human figures in it. It should give a definition of space and perspective so that the scenario looks appealing.
We clicked pictures of ten places (day and night) and sketched them out. It was very important to understand the lighting in the places and how it affects the entire scenario.
Sketches made by me using techniques of hatching and cross-hatching
