Digital marketing refers to the promotion of a product online. These products can be promoted on various social media platforms, mobile apps, online videos etc.
Online promotions can be of different types:
Display ads, Paid search, Social media participation, Blogging, Retargeting ads, collaborations and SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
Ingame placement is also one of the ways. These ads are included in online games. When one plays games, one might get ads of different products or product promotions.
