The 3-D illustrations of metaphors brought more shape to the drawings. File card as a medium is very sturdy and gives a good finish to the models. Since it is a stronger medium as compared to paper, the models can also be made vertically and can be given a better effect. Texture also gives a good look to the model.
The first vertically placed model is the representation of the metaphor: I’m the everchanging weather. I used waves and clouds as elements of weather which also depict movement and change. I have used this metaphor to describe my indecisive nature which means not easily coming to a conclusion or changing between different options. Therefore, I think this illustration is apt to describe this metaphor.
The second model is the illustration for the metaphor: I’m the colour red. Red is usually associated with anger and thus, I used this metaphor to show my short tempered nature. For representing this metaphor, I made use of the literal meaning, that is, by showing the fluctuating heartbeat which keeps on increasing due to anger. My illustration therefore, includes the depiction of heartbeat.
