A mind map is an easy way of organizing information by forming a certain structure and order. It helps in the segregation of information into a correct pattern and arranging it. It allows us to visually present our thoughts and put them together.
The mind maps made by me include different situations based on sustainable practices, unsustainable practices and sustainable development.
The first mind map explains the practice and the reason to follow it. It shows the flow of thought and shows the correct pattern that needs to be followed. I also tried to use a very linear format to show the continuity.

The second mind map is about the various unsustainable practices that we tend to follow in our day to day routine and how they affect not only the environment but also our own health. After looking at this map, it becomes important to curtail such practices and follow the right pattern.

The next one is about the three types of sustainable development, in terms of Community, Ecosystem and Economy. This shows the different types of developments which are required to be done in these areas. Only by making these changes, it will bring about a balance in these aspects and in turn lead to sustainable development.

After a discussion about these maps, the next part was to understand the meaning of terms such as ‘biodiversity’ and ‘ecosystem’.
Biodiversity refers to the variation of life on earth. It refers to the different species which are found on Earth and the diversity among them.
Ecosystem refers to the living organisms and the environment and how they interact with another. It refers to a large community and consists of a flowing cycle.
The next part was to form groups and work to find out the solutions to different problems as every group was given one topic. It helps in accumulating information and combining different aspects together.
