The process of converting our physical zines into digital ones, helps us in understanding the concept in depth. The colour palette has to be decided accordingly, keeping in mind, the appearance of the zine and at the same time, the process of making it digitally.
Photoshop makes the process simpler as by scanning the sketch, we can use it to refine it and also to fill appropriate colours.
The sketch made by me is the very first page of my zine. By using Photoshop, the sketch has been enhanced digitally. The brush tool helps in filling colours and highlighting the necessary aspects. Also layer mask can be used in this process.
The colours used by me include brighter shades on the modern architecture on top, since the motive was to give it a colourful look. The old architecture at the bottom is shown to be a reflection to the modern one. The colours used are comparatively subtle and not as colourful and bright as the modern one. This is to show its fading appearance.
