Rendering a sketch adds shade and texture to it and also gives it a real and aesthetic look. It is important to catch the light and shadow on the object we are trying to render because only then we would be able to bring out the proper look and feel of the object.
When it comes to rendering leaves and flowers, we need to observe them first. This is essential because every leaf is different from the other and so is it in case of flowers. The colours and textures on each of them should be highlighted by adding strokes in the right way. This technique generally includes the use of hatching and scumbling.
