This class was about turning our concept sketches into physical illustrations. These illustrations would have a complete sense of the themes which we derived from the movies and would relate to them more.
The sketch that I decided to go ahead with for this process was based on our theme Greed. It consisted of an illustration of a person’s head with different thoughts about greed in it like, wealth, luxury, power and crime. The person’s head that I tried to make was inspired from the movies we watched. The face sort of brought out a combination of all of them. This portrayed the negative characters from these movies.
Since my idea was to give the poster a Retro effect, I added components in a way that it appeared to be more retro than any illustration. More the elements, more could be the addition of colour to it and it would therefore be more visually appealing.

The reason why my sketch focused on Greed was because it was not only an important theme from my element but it was also a part of other movies that went well with our second theme of Corruption. Hence by showing greed in such a way. it highlighted one of the main aspects of these movies.
