Abstraction of the hand gestures included the simplification of the drawings we had made. Now, we had to convert these abstract sketches in to 3-D models with the help of a stronger material as compared to our prototypes.
I made use of wood and MDF to create my final model. The wood acted as a stand and MDF gave a base to my structure. The actual hand grip is made out of wire. I made use of woollen threads to decorate it. I wrapped the thread around the wire and also along the base of the wooden stand. I made use of LED lights on the stand to give it a bright and vibrant look.
