Abstract art is that form of art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of the visual reality but instead use different types of shapes, colours and lines to do the same.
Abstract art included movements of Impressionism, Surrealism, Fauvism and Cubism. The famous artists who followed this form of art include Piet Mondrain, Pablo Picasso and many more.
Abstract art gives an idea of what we are trying to represent without actually sketching it out. It may include the outline of the original object or even the shapes or forms through which it can be represented.
Abstract art was a new topic for us to be working on. It is challenging to convert real objects or scenarios into completely abstract forms which would either be an illustration or just the idea of the original concept. When we actually started to work on our sketches, we had to visualize the simplest form in which we could draw it out.
My work is based on the topic: My Favourite Place
