‘Linear drawings’ are the drawings which are made by using just lines of different lengths and sizes. These lines help in providing shape to the object and also show the light and dark part of it. By placing the lines in a proper manner and at a considerable distance from each other, we can show different elements of an object.
The only restriction in this process was that we had to use a Pen to make these sketches instead of a pencil. While using pens, therefore, it became important that we noted every line placement in the drawing and tried to get it correct in as many minimum tries as possible.
Studying and observing the object is very important before starting to sketch it out.
