Perspective creates depth in a drawing and also gives it a realistic look. ‘Observation is the key to perspectives drawings.’ This is because when we observe a particular image or a scene, we can imagine where perspectives lines would converge and accordingly sketch it out. The most important thing about perspectives is to understand the relation of the object with the surroundings.
Few sketches made by me
When it comes to sketching out human figures in perspective, it is important to observe the features of those figures as they differ from person to person.
To capture these minute details, understanding the light and shadows in the respective scenarios is necessary since it creates a depth effect and makes the sketches look realistic.
The different contours of the face should be located and shown as these add realism to the sketch.
Proportions should also be marked as they bring about a huge differences and helps in refining the sketch later.
