The concept sketches for the final installation had to be made. These sketches had to represent our chosen area and our aspects. It had to be an abstract representation of the place.

The aspects chosen by us included: Planning, Architecture and Community.

We had to come up with at least five different ideas for our installation before making the final one. These sketches also had to include the various materials we were going to use. The materials also had to be a representation of the place. The five concept sketches were as follows:

The final one that we decided to make was out of MDF. This model included two boxes connected by stairs at the centre. Both of the boxes represented different aspects. The structure of the box also represented the structure of houses in the Ranwar area. The aspects of the Planning was shown in the upper box and the lower box showed community. The upper box also consisted of graffiti on the outer side and the house patterns of the inside.
