In this session, we presented our final output to the external. Knowing the views of someone who is new the entire process, gave us a better understanding of the viewer’s point of view. Explaining our process and making our ideas clear to the viewer was very important in order for the viewer to appreciate it as a whole.
The final product which we came up with is a four way poster which acts as a collation of all the posters joined together by a Rationale at the centre. The rationale justified the working of the posters together and how they were derived from movies we all watched.
This was the final poster made by us:

At the back of each poster we decided to put a short explanation of our idea behind it. This would give the viewer an overview of what a particular poster aims as conveying and would understand it while viewing. We added this write up at the back.

To give a better explanation of the handling of the poster, we came up with a GIF. A GIF was a precise manner to give a brief to the viewer and would act as a digital mock-up. It consisted of our posters a the write-ups for each.
This is the GIF made by us:
The review helped us in gaining a new perspective of the final output. The plus points of the poster as per the viewer were clearer to us and ways in which it would attract people.
The process documentation helped in understanding the various steps followed to achieve the outcome, individually and as a group. It consisted of the process starting form watching the movies to creating our final outputs. As every step of the process plays a vital role, it becomes important to document it.
This assignment helped us in basically decoding the entire movie altogether. It helped us in gaining a better understanding of the era and how it affected the kind of movies which were made then in terms of characters, story line, theme, music and locations. The movies not only attract the viewer but also create an impression about the time which stays as a memory in the viewer’s mind.
